Maintenance

Fire Door Inspection, Reporting & Maintenance

Our inspection reports identify only the required remedial works, with each issue documented through before-and-after photos and assigned an ART number for full transparency. This enables step-by-step progress tracking for both UK Fire Door Services and our clients.

Common Fire Door Failures:

  • Incorrectly fitted or damaged doors/frames

  • Damaged fire seals

  • Doors not engaging properly

  • Faulty door closers

  • Insufficient fire stopping behind architraves

  • Non-compliant glazing

We offer customized maintenance programs, ensuring fire doors remain compliant and functional. Fire doors must be inspected every six months to maintain building fire safety.

Inspection

Ensure Fire Safety with Certified Fire Door Inspections

A qualified, third-party certified inspection provides peace of mind and demonstrates your commitment to fire safety. Fire doors are the first line of defense, restricting fire and smoke spread to protect lives and property.

UK Fire Door Services ensures your fire doors meet regulatory specifications, are properly maintained, and comply with Fire Safety Regulations. Fire doors are a critical part of fire risk assessments, and non-compliance can lead to prosecution, fines, or imprisonment, even for minor violations like missing seals or wedging doors open.
